The cause of these economic woes is Mahama's tribalism, nepotism, incompetence , selfishness, corruption and insane desire to rule at all costs . Just as the the Mayans of south America killed their leaders and ate their brains so pepeni killed the ideologist of the ndc Atta Mills to sit on his throne, didnt matter that he had no clue of how to build or develop a nation .He started by appointing mainly northerners who are as corrupt and incompetent as himself, where he appointed some one from another tribe he made sure he shadowed them with a pepeni chief director or deputy minister. In-fact half of these northerners by another strange twist are also actually related to him eg deputy minister of transport or chief director of our failing miserably Finance ministry. A president who can not trust or accept the citizens of the land and appoint people based on merit and competence is no president of mine and will surely fail .He then appointed his pepeni and intellectually inferior ministers so no one could challenge him or call him to order, what he desires the most is an authoritarian dictatorship so that's he secured obedience and loyalty at the expense of the constitution and the interests of the people. How many private sector investors have been rejected because they will or cant pay the bribes ? Without private capital govt borrowing only creates debt . He was not able to mobilize our last resource the diaspora to come and invest as when NDC came they made sure most of the business community incurred huge losses through abrogation of contracts , corruption and inflation of the cedi. First we had Kuffour who spent his 8 years of sophisticated corruption that made us loose control of our natural resources such as our gold and oil , then we had anther sorrow of an Ashanti minister of finance Duffuor whose was put there just to satisfy the balance of tribal politics but wrecked the economy by increasing govt borrowing and now advocated for hedging/gambling our oil , i wonder why they didn't first sell the golden stool or at least hedge it for the betterment of all of Ghana, no worries , when the war comes the stool will go for sure . Nkrumah allowed the primitive northerners and ewes to join Ghana in the hope that he could secure himself president for life with a dictatorship , had the USA allowed Mexico and all the other south American states to become part of their country they would never have developed as all that would have been their focus would be to rule even though they are not socially or intellectually ready to develop.Now its clear to all war is around the corner and elections may only turn out to be the spark that will bring about a fierce ethnic conflict leading to the breakup of the country as should have been over 100 years ago.

Fellow citizens, let us get rid of ''Azorka boys'' and all other ''boys, boys'' groups in Ghana.These are a serious threat to the security of the country. He'd made lots of campaign promises but failed to deliver when he was in power. During his reign, Ghana witnessed a sharp decline in Ghana's economic fortunes, although he had made lots of noise about Kuffour's gov't.
It is clear to all, including the international observing economic community that ex-Prez Kuffour's gov't brought about lots of change and progress to Ghana in his 8yr rule as compared to Rawlings and NDC's 19yr rule.
The NDC's campaign in 2007/8 led by Rawlings assured Ghanaians that Kuffour and his ministers were corrupt and would be prosecuted and jailed by NDC gov't when voted into power amid wild cheers from their foot soldiers, only find themselves languishing in abject poverty, in spite of all the sweet promises by their gov't. On assumption of power, 17 NPP ex-Ministers were dragged to court for trial, for offences they did not commit, and were all acquitted and discharged by the law courts. So what's this foolish talk by this NDC apparatchik and sycophant like Koku Anynidoho that Atta Mills was a cool man?
Typical of the NDC, they'll falsely accuse everyone of corruption, but end up being the worse offenders of the very crimes of they accuse others of, or about. This culture of false accusation esp. by the NDC should stop!
Rawlings' AFRC/P-NDC had accuse people of corruption, executed others by firing squad, while they chased out many out of the country. NDC bulldozed their way back into power, thanks God to EC's Kwadjo Afari-Gyan and Justice Atuguba of the Supreme Court; they're in power but can't find the solutions to Ghana's economic problems, except to use this platform to tell lies or deceive people. What a shame!

Any president in the world is expected to ensure that the laws, rules, regulations, customs, etc of that nation are strictly observed and enforced. As such if anybody commits a crime such as corruption and you allow the person to go free, you have failed as the leader of your country.
Members of the NPP have said time and again that they stole but when President Mills came, he did not persecute them just because he wants to be seen as a "good person". He has by that action failed as a leader.
When somebody commits an offense and he/she is punished according to the laws of the country, that is not witch-hunting. If such person(s) go unpunished, anarchy will reign.
Some people are born to follow and NOT to lead; that is President Mills for you.
