Kufour should be the last person to talk about corruption because he is more corrupt than all the leaders of Ghana including both the past and present combined,he is the cause of the corruption in the judiciary,he even defended corruption by saying corruption started from the time of Adams but today thinking Ghanaians have forgotten what he did and said, he is pretending to be angel.

Look at the likes of Dery,the NPP man suing now to clear his tainted name which we already knew before this bogus tape,the person who threw out most of the cases against Kufour's corrupt officials using that useless Human Rights Court set up by the Chief Justice to aid corrupt officials.

No wonder he was invited to that conference of one of the most corrupt organizations in the world,GBA,most of these lawyers are the architects of corruption in the judiciary and one can see why they invited a corrupt Kufour to address them.

You have now seen and heard that the lawyers and the judiciary have exploited and corrupted the nation since you became a president and shutting and allowing the real intellectuals of the nation to govern the country with pride and wisdom as the late first president Dr. Kwame Nkrumah laid down he foundation of building developed and prosperous nation in Africa. You Kufuor and the NPP government including Nana Addo left office leaving the countries roads, cities streets and fly-overs dusty and uncompleted for more than four years. Not to mention you and your government sold the Ghana Airways airlines manned by Ghanaian pilots engineers stewards and air-hostesses and the Ghana telecommunications to Vodafone which have operated more than sixty years bringing in foreign money to solve and balance our economy with the rest of the world. You these documentations scalors with empty barrels, corrupt and bribing takers have ruled and exploited the country for so long that you and your party NPP should be banned from Ghana politics to enable the true intellectuals from other parties to rule the country. At times I fill ashamed to be an Akan for since the so called coup which toppled Dr. Nkrumah and the CPP, all the things Ghana which Ghana was proud off such railway lines, Ghana shipping lines etc have been destroyed by Akans from Afrifah ,Busia, Acheampong and you kufour. Mr. President, what about you yourself? What a hypocrite you are! Have you already forgotten all the shameful corrupt activities that characterised your administration and the critical role you personally played in the establishment and promotion of massive corruption in Ghana? Were you not the one who declared publicly that corruption had started since the time of Adam and, therefore, by implication, Ghanaians mustn't be overly concerned about the evil phenomenon? Let me draw your attention to only two of your numerous corrupt dealings during your presidency:

You sold GhanaTelecom cheaply to Vodafone and as a result received $30 million bribe. You met personally in London, England, with Vodafone executives and negotiated the deal with them. How should a president be personally involved in such a deal? What did you know about telecommunications at all for you to sell such a company? Where were the Ghanaian experts? Is it not clear that your only motive of personally getting involved in this deal was to enrich yourself at the expense of Ghana and Ghanaians by taking a bribe from Vodafone?

Under your leadership, your NPP engaged in drugs dealings and at least one of your MPs, Eric Amoateng, was arrested and imprisoned in America for importing drugs into that country. He fully served his sentence and was discharged; he returned to Ghana only in 2014.

Another drugs dealing case was that of the 77 parcels of cocaine that were seized from the ship Benjamin and were deposited at the Ghana Police Headquarters in Accra in 2003, but which parcels mysteriously disappeared. You then appointed a commission under the chairmanship of Supreme Court Justice Georgina Theodora Wood to investigate the disappearance. During the commission's sittings, it was openly declared that some of the cocaine parcels were traced to the Asantehene's Manhyia palace in Kumasi. Yet strangely enough Justice Wood declared at the conclusion of her commission's work that its findings were inconclusive. And that strangely ended the commission's work! As a result, though, you were so pleased with the way and manner in which Wood, an NPP stalwart, handled the matter that you quickly promoted her over and above all her seniors to her current position of Ghana's Chief Justice. This was because her decision saved you personally, saved the Inspector-General of Police, an Asante man and his other Asante senior colleagues, saved your NPP and your Asante Paramount Chief who currently occupies the Sika Oqua Kofi in the Manhyia Palace, from profound embarrassment.

Mr. President, please don't delude your mind that Ghanaians are somehow stupid, that they don't really know you and your cronies and that they've soon forgotten the vicious, massive corruption you and your NPP visited upon Ghana and thus raped Ghanaians during your eight-year administration.

One other justice to the SC who was promoted from the High Court within a short space of time was Justice Bamfo Bonney. From HC to SC.
And do you remember the packing of the SC to overturn an earlier decision that went in favor of Tsatsu in the early days of moron Kufour's presidency. The judiciary is a tainted garbage. Not worth it's sort.

Recently, I witnessed in dismay a tirade by a white man in the first class cabin of a mid-size airplane, admonishing another first class passenger, a Ghanaian male, for “begging” for his seat. What is wrong with you Africans? All you do is beg, beg, beg for everything!! You can beg all you want; I am not going to give you my seat. Tempers finally cooled down, and the aircraft took off. Unfortunately, I was sitting next to this white man who, a few minutes ago, had insulted my whole race. With nothing else to do, I turned and asked him “what was all that about”? Apparently, the Ghanaian man was travelling with his “wife”; they had been seated in 1st class on separate rows, and apart. The man had asked this white man to exchange his seat, so the couple could be close. The white man had refused, but the Ghanaian man had persisted with numerous “I beg you”; which eventually took the white man to his boiling point. “So what would it have cost you to exchange your seat?” I asked. His response, the essence of this article was this.

“I booked my flight the last minute, and got the last 1st class seat available, this one. This means it was also available to this man, if only he had asked to be seated close to his wife. He did not, but now comes “begging” for what WAS DUE HIM in the first place.” “That still shouldn't get your collar up”, I said. “You may be right; unfortunately, I have just finished a month long negotiations with your Ministers and Government officials over your god given mineral rights, and what my gold mining company should pay.

I come to your country, see all this poverty everywhere, with wealth right under your feet. Your own government gives only foreign companies the rights and privileges to rape and steal your country blind. For a few thousand dollars, your government officials allow these foreign companies to walk away with: (a) Perpetual tax holidays, (b) Duty free imports, (c) Bloated capital and operational investment costs,

(d) under-declared mineral output, (e) minimum wages for local employees doing all the work, but FAT salaries and expense accounts for foreigners who do almost nothing; (f) exaggerated cost of shoddy school blocks and boreholes instead of meaningful royalty to local land owners and communities;

(g) destruction of local farm lands with pitiful resettlement payments; (h) pollution of local drinking water; (i) destruction of local infrastructure, etc.

My bosses had counseled me at a briefing before my departure. I was asked to read your Osageyefo's “Neo-Colonialism”. Then I was told: “be prepared, and the first, to offer the negotiating team, (a) a few thousand dollars each; (b) a center, or a 6-room school block, or a few bore holes for the community; and there will be no mention of the usual above 10% royalties, or an actual government oversight of our operations, or adequate resettlement compensations, etc.”

I did not believe my bosses since I, a mere high school graduate, was coming to deal with officials with Masters and Doctorate degrees. Imagine my shock and disappointment when these officials, instead of demanding what is INTERNATIONALLY ACCEPTABLE COMPENSATIONS AND ROYALTIES for their country and communities, only accepted the 3% royalties, and with ALL KINDS OF GIVEAWAYS, and then came to me later BEGGING me to deposit “something” in their foreign accounts (numbers written on pieces of paper). I do not want to hear the phrase “I beg you” again.

The irony here is that these so called Educated people, after negotiating away the countries wealth, and depositing their “something”s into foreign banks, turn round to go and BORROW their own money from the IMF, World Bank, or “Donor” countries/ “Development Partners”. Do you remember the number of PhD beneficiaries, and the destinations of the Mabey & Johnson kickbacks? It amazes me that your intelligentsia, Ministers and Presidents, who have studied, or have travelled oversea, still don't get the idea that “THERE IS NO FREE LUNCH”. THERE ARE NO “DONOR COUNTRIES” OR “DEVELOPMENT PARTNERS”. THE FOREIGN MINING COMPANIES TAKE YOUR MINERALS FOR NEXT TO NOTHING, DEPOSIT THEIR HAUL INTO THEIR BANKS, AND THEN TURN ROUND TO LOAN THE SAME TO OUR GOVERNMENTS, AGAIN WITH REDICULOUS CONDITIONS.SUCH AS “NO SUBSIDIZED” BASIC EDUCATION.

Some people have been executed for similar or lesser offences; some have lost their lives for crimes against the state. All of these things add up for us to understand that Ghana can really move forward! And make him face justice for not only his killings but also his failure to make himself accountable to GhanaIans, the corruption could never be properly controlled. Because life is not easy for anyone. After all these bad things and atrocities Rawlings did, if he has got away with them and above all celebrates it every year on the watch of all GhanaIans, I don't think the majority of GhanaIans will be willing to sacrifice for the betterment of the nation by stopping corruption which they also see it as an opportunity to enrich them selves like Rawlings and Koffuor.

But the impunity and arrogance with which these low life miscreants we call 'judges,' who are nothing but gutter level criminals posing as refined learned gentlemen and women committed these offenses tells you that they feared no consequences. They were the final arbiters from whom simple justice was expected, Their crimes are the worst of all crimes because they and their institution left the people naked and defenseless, they are only the tip of the iceberg, their whole institution, the Judiciary is corrupt, there is not a single judge or clerk who is not involved. Where is Occupy Ghana? This is the right time to bring the people into the street. We must demand the immediate firing or resignation of the Minister of Justice, The CJ and the charging of those implicated and quick maximum sentencing. This is what led to an individual being doused to death with acid. The murderers knew they would not pay the penalty. what about all those involved in the Naa Ayele case, the guy with a dozen passports and the two women who escaped from London?

If this was a law abiding country, the president would have call for enquiry into the situation, sized all asset of the judges or fine them, and fire all of them because they are embarrassment to the nation. But the president won’t do this because he himself hands are no clean. What a shame! A country where judges take bribe in the form of money, yam, goat, kobi, wale, rice, and God knows what. The world is following this case and is waiting to see the outcome. No wonder NGO’s have lost confident in doing business in Ghana and IMF is watching. Shame, Shame, Shame. The Ghanaian system is chop chop and chop, as long as you can get away with it. Who cares about the poor? The leaders look after themselves and make sure you bank enough for your family before you get out of power. I am very sure nothing is going to come out of this.
