Among absolute paupers, a person with $1 is a very rich man. So, Mr. Donkor's assertion is lopsided. Moreover, we know well in Ghana that access to electricity by having electrical cables running to your house or business does not guarantee power running in the electric lines. In addition to Dumsor, there are a lot of areas in Ghana which are wired up but has no access to the power grid. Would one consider such a case an access to electricity. Mr. Donkor should get his boys to work out for him EFFECTIVE ACCESS to electricity and then tells us. Although most Ghanaians are farmers or children of farmers (like myself), we are not stupid and can differentiate 'cooked' statistics from actual and sensible ones.

Just remember access to electricity and affordability are two different things. Ghana government intends to make electricity so expensive that the poor class and the emerging middle class cannot afford it, there for reducing the amount of electric used, therefore ending dumsor.

I think a military government will be better for Ghana than these crooks and incapable fools in the so-called democratic governments (NPP/NDC) poor Ghana have been having.
