Did Mahama say it is NPP violence? So far what we have been made to understand is, NDC operatives were bused to Accra with the promise of Ghc 100 cedis to demonstrate against the legal emphasis on legal suspension of the national chairman of the party, by a constitutional body of the NPP party, and those involved in the murder of the said gentleman, we have been made aware was a group made up of thugs from the NPP and NDC who were called in by the constituency chairman Isaac Brenya to visit violence on constituency members who did not back the action of the constituency chairman on deciding to demonstrate in Accra, against the suspension of Afoko, but attended that demonstration on the pretext, he had their backing.
So from this violence that has claimed the life of the young man it is more likely than not, it was the work of NDC thugs. This can be further inferred from the nature of the Asaawase constituency. It is a hotbed of NDC extremism and violence in the Ashanti region. The track record is there and John Mahama should not be so fast in condemning this so called violence in the NPP, since the facts so far does not support this position at least in the case of the murdered young man Abubakar Saddiq.
Besides, this supposed violence as every Ghanaian us aware, is an orchestration of elements deeply in bed with the NDC party from the Presidency directly, to create this situation and make a rather lame excuse for the retention of a totally and completely incompetent, failed and thieving govt, as an election message going into 2016. It has however failed as those elements have been exposed in the NPP and are being dealt with intelligently and lawfully in the NPP party.
This is not a campaign message that will fly and the John Mahama-led NDC gov't is leaving power in 2016.
