Anybody who knows Francis Poku will agree that these are the exact words he would use. That guy is as treacherous and corrupt as Kuffour & Co. Remember he was caught in a big financial and property scandal but Kuffour, as usual, swept it under the carpet because Francis Poku threatened to expose all of them if any action was taken against them. As a result he decamped back to Britain where he is enjoying his loot before Kuffour's term ran out. Before then he had stabbed his friend and former Director of Military Intelligence, Col(ret) Annor Odjidjah, in the back when he thought Kuffour was considering the latter for the post of National Security Advisor by revealing to Kuffour that Annor had told him in confidence that he Annor didn't trust any African politician to do the right thing. Annor has so far been proved right in his assessment.

Fortunately for the NDC but unfortunately for the Akuffo-Addo-led NPP, this time Francis is right on the ball! But he should shed his cloak of cowardice and own up to his assessment!

The NDC as a political party is desperate to retain political power fair or foul come 2016 elections. Since 2008, the NDC tagged Nana Addo with the 'All die be die'syndrone just to make Nana Addo unpopular in the eyes and minds of the good people of Ghana.
The other tactics was to over stretch the Ashanti and the Akyem tribal card just to build an anti Akuffu Addo support group in the Ashanti region, and in particular,Kumaasi the stronghold of the New patriotic Party.
Inspite of all these rough tactics against Nana Addo, the NDC flag bearer, John Mahama had to dip his hands into the National coffers, and 'stole' a whooping $60m to support his 2012 elections.
That was not enough! The NDC under John Mahama, had to solicit the assistance of an Israeli company, and with the connivance of the Electoral Commission headed by Kwadwo Afari Djan, to steal the verdict from the NPp. The latter had to seek redress from the Supreme Court headed by a pro NDC Judge and a Frarah man akin to the NDC leader, John Mahama. The verdict and the general comportment of Nana Addo, before, during, and after the verdict endeared him to the hearts of all right thinking Ghanaians.
Now, come 2016,the NDC must find another anti Akufo Addo slogan to demonise him. And the instruction is that every NDC adherent must hammer on the internal wranglings within the NPP and trumpet an orchestrated symphony that Nana Addo is a failed leader, and that is why the centre cannot hold in the NPP under Nana Addo, and therefore there is no point why Ghanaians should vote for the NPP under Nana Addo. All NDC supporters must register in this symphony orchestra with all the parts in unison.
Why is the NDC afraid of Nana Addo becoming president of Ghana?
The answer is simple. The NDC is the most corrupt political party in Ghana. There is no way any NDC appointed official can pass the litmus test on corruption. Right from the founder, JJ Rawlings to the lowest person supervising the KVIP toilets in the communities are tainted with corruption.
The fear is that if Nana Addo should come to power in 2016,majority of the NDC appointees would go to jail.If that is so, then all NDC must regard Nana Addo as NDC enemy number one, and everything possible must be done to ensure Nana does not become president of Ghana.
But man proposes and God disposes. If it is the will of God that Nana is to be president of Ghana, there is nothing anybody can do. What is worrying in the current situation is the entrenched position of the NDC to do everything possible to rig the 2016 elections.
Currently, the Israli accomplice company hired to massage the 2012 election results before it got to the EC, has relinguished their position and handed over to a Korean company, and some of the EC officials who masterminded the cheating have been employed by the Korean company after their retirement. An indication that the ruling NDC is bent on perpetuating the same diabolical act of rigging the 2016 elections.
Nonetheless, Nana Addo has hinted that the NPP will not go back to the Supreme Court if the NDC decides to steal from the electoral process for the umpteen time. And anything can happen in Ghana in 2016. One thing is certain.It is not going to be conventional war where the security agencies can control the situation. When the mayhem starts because somebody wants to perpetuate himself in power, the whole country would be engaged in the mayhem.
The NDC as a government must learn to play it fair and according to the rules of the game. Anything less than this admonition would be fatal for this country. I'm ready, what about you?
