Therefore, let NPP not to be discouraged by the Lies which the BNI and NDC are spreading about their Security Training Programme by the South African Trainers. The fact is that nobody trusts the Police and the BNI which are paid by the Ghanaian Taxpayers, but still work in favour of the NDC.For this reason,these Institutions can never work professionally and neutrally as long as the NDC controls them.

It would have been prudent to hire NPP retired military and Police for their security concerns. They would even need no serious training since they have worked in the security sector before.
Ghana is so much politicized on tribal lines that all parties should be careful on such security concerns. If guns get into wrong hands, it will not bode well for the country. There could be civil wars or we shall start having warlords. We should be reminded of what happened in Rwanda, Liberia and Burundi.

Meanwhile, it was much of the Opposition's own violent behavior, its many attempts to assassinate Nkrumah, even using our local Security Agents, like Kwame Ametewe, that drove Nkrumah to seek a private security apparatus with Soviet advisers.

We don't see any similar threats to Akufo-Addo's life from any quarters, internal or external, that justify his possession of a private "Army" to protect him.

Secondly, if Nkrumah did so and Akufo-Addo and his cohorts still use that to discredit him, even today, why would he, Akufo-Addo, then turn around to do the same in secret?

If Akufo-Addo would resort to such external sources for his personal comfort and security while only an Opposition leader, not yet the President, wait till he becomes the President. You would see how much deference to foreign agents and operatives he may engage in, contracting outsiders to handle our Country's affairs inimically.

One thing I would vouch on is his sending our Funds to foreign Bank havens for his personal use, without compunction. He has already shown his proclivity for opening secret Accounts to hide money in with the collaboration of Freddy Blay and Abankwa Yeboah in NPP. He did not advise against the Oil Drill sales proceeds that Hammond diverted to some foreign accounts when he was in Government with him, either as the Foreign Minister or even the Attorney-General.

Just when we thought we needed a real patriotic President who would use most of our local resources, both physical and human, to reinvest in our Economy to build the Nation, the most viable option that the Opposition could offer, Akufo-Addo, to the current Head of State is even showing these signs of wanton reliance on Foreigners before he could even become the next President.

That is a shame! When did Akufo-Addo formally appeal to our Security Agencies for protection and they denied him to justify resorting to outside mercenaries for such security?

Come on, let's be honest, here! We now see who he intends to build his Invisible Forces with to torment other Ghanaians he perceives as impediment to his hallucinatory self-anointed dream to become Ghanaian President, by hook or crook. This is a manifestation of his "All die be die.." Policy for winning Power by anyway possible. Boniface, his lieutenant even said so yesterday.

What real beneficial purpose would such a thuggish para-military group serve to promote our democratic Election coming up? Didn't we all criticize Yaw Boateng Gyan, the former NDC National Organizer, for attempting to form a similar group a short while back?

Akufo-Addo himself was part of the Opposition that cited Nkrumah's insulation of himself with a private Presidential Guard, trained by Soviet Advisers, even though the late President's life had been unarguably made miserably precarious with the incessant attempts to assassinate him and violently force his Administration out of Office.

What Office is Akufo-Addo protecting so hard now to justify hiring any special security group? And there has not been any physical threat to his life that Ghanaians know about, like what even an insane guy attempted on President Mahama.

So, where is the justification for such a group?

I guess it was all for the establishment of such dangerous projects and schemes to force his chances of winning Power at all cost that Akufo-Addo ordered Abankwa Yeboah and Freddy Blay to secretly redirect NPP's Funds into a dormant Account, the protest of which led to the suspension of Afoko and Kwabena Agyepong from the Party. What a shame!!

I thought Akufo-Addo grew in his Christian Faith for which he visited the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem to increase his favor with God to let him win the Elections. What happened? Has he already lost faith in God to give him the Presidency peacefully to stoop this low as to resort to the use of thugs for his safety and victory?

How could anyone now doubt Akufo-Addo's propensity for brutish violence to achieve his personal ambitions, after all the unprecedented fatal violence he has superintended in the NPP to date and this secret formation of a para-military group with hired mercenaries?

We were all warned about his intentions and paranoia-driven preemptive violent streak, when he blurted out his "All die be die.." mantra, amidst a violent skirmish in Atiwa and Kyerepone, at that time.

He even said it himself that he and his cohorts had shown a little bit of what they were capable of in that skirmish. That was the tip of the iceberg of how ruthless he could be, inferring from that braggadocio of his. And now, we are witnessing the re-initiation of the same plan of his with this secret force, which may or may not be part of the widely heard about Invisible Forces of his.

Why would any peace-loving, democratic Ghanaian continue to shield him from facing his own actions, and keep hoping that he could lead this country into peaceful Prosperity?

We may dislike the way the Economy has been run by the current Mahama Administration. But the deserving response to that is not encouraging or inviting violence to attempt changing him.

The above-captioned article, sourced from myjoyonline dated 22nd March, 2016 makes for a very interesting and even funny piece that depicts, at best, a crass propaganda strategy by the ruling government and its apparatchiks. It recalls to mind when Mr. Kennedy Agyapong, MP for Assin Central, was arrested on the flimsy excuse that he had caused “fear and panic” with his misconstrued “tribalistic” statement that “threatened national security” under late President Atta Mills.
For this arrest, ex-President Kufuor appealed to late President Atta Mills to use his presidential powers to set Mr. Kennedy Agyapong free for the sake of peace, and described the action of the police as akin to “using a sledge hammer to kill a fly.” However, this statement by ex-President Kufuor did not go down well with the then Vice-President of Ghana, Mr. John Mahama. Within a few days, the then Vice-President is alleged to have responded that his party would not hesitate employing the use of “bulldozers to kill flies, if any fly tried to disturb the peace of this country.”
In the above-referenced article, the Bureau of National Investigation (BNI) is reported to have caused the arrest of three South African former police officers in the Central Region for allegedly engaging in acts that threaten the country’s security. The three, 54-year-old Major Ahmed Shaik Hazis (Rtd.), 39-year–old WO/ Denver Dwayhe Naidu (Rtd.) and 45-year-old Captain Mlungiseleli Jokani (Rtd.), were picked up on Sunday March 20, 2016 at El Capitano Hotel in Agona Dunkwa in the Central Region. According to the report, the three were engaged in training 15 young men in various military drills, including unarmed combat, weapon handling, VIP protection techniques, and rapid response maneuvers.
What is interesting is the alleged disclosure that the leader of the group, Hazis, disclosed to BNI officials that they were brought into the country by one Capt. Koda, head of security detail for NPP flagbearer, Nana Akufo-Addo, and that Hazis was part of Nana Akufo-Addo’s security detail during the 2012 elections but left the country soon after. A deputy director of communications of the NPP, Perry Okudzeto, set the record straight by noting that the South African nationals were training the security men strictly for “crowd control” and not for “military tactics,” and they “had license to operate” as such.
After all, what individual of right mind would want to train 15 Ghanaians to engage in what in Ghana? As home-trained terrorists, when we have already imported real terrorists into the country that is creating panic in the people, yet being made to pale into insignificance?
In the face of all these, a deputy General Secretary of the NDC, Mr. Koku Anyidoho, was quick to spin this story as NPP’s “desperation for power” and “importing mercenaries to destabilize the country,” seizing upon every concocted opportunity to draw the name of Nana Akufo-Addo into everything just because he is known to be of incorruptible character.
“Destabilize the country” for what? The NDC leadership has time and time again employed crass and “outdated revolutionary tactics” to divert the substances of issues. When they clearly have no message for the citizenry after having run the Ghanaian economy aground, and forcing people to live under harsh economic times, they resort to a track record of what they do best--blowing issues out of proportion, irrelevancy, and propaganda.
Surprisingly, the NDC leadership tends to assume that Ghanaians lack the ability to discern the truth. Who is interested in comprehensive report of the operations of Superlock Technologies Limited, a company mentioned in the arrest report that was engaged by Afari Gyan’s Electoral Commission (EC) that transmitted and collated results to the EC during the 2012 general elections? People are rather interested in far more important issues such as US$37 billion in revenue under the NDC government, of which only US$7 billion is accounted for in public projects in Ghana. It is on such issues that discerning Ghanaians are going to vote and take their destiny into their own hands.
And given what is happening in Nigeria now with the advent of the anti-corruption crusader, President Buhari, which has opened the way for Nigeria to receive US$200 billion of its looted money stashed away by Nigerian public officials in the United Arab Emirates (Dubai), the reason cannot be far-fetched as to why the Nigerian counterparts of corrupt Ghanaian public officials are agitating and panicking: they sense a similar fate awaiting them should the now awakened Ghanaian electorate vote the NDC out of power in the 2016 elections, a change that seems inevitable in Ghana.
It is change that will supplant greed in governance by a few with sharing in governance with all citizens. It is change that results in jobs and not jolts in the economy; change that results in making electricity power a constant norm, not a variable norm; change that results in classrooms under roofs and tiles, not under trees and dirt; change that results in streets paved with blocks and asphalt, not patched with potholes and mud; and change that results in waxing the honor in public service, not waning the honor in public service.
Fifty-nine good years of nationhood, and we really have nothing to show for it. Ghana was 8 years old when Singapore had its political independence in 1965. Today, the success story of Singapore is told to the chagrin of Ghana. At independence, Ghana was richer than Argentina, Brazil, Malaysia or Singapore. Today, these countries’ success stories are told to the chagrin of Ghana.
Isn’t it about time that we moved away from the infantile partisan politics to the promised land of matured politics of true nation building? Why do we continue to be poor amidst plentiful natural resources? Corruption is a prime suspect. We are neck deep in corruption, which bedevil our socio-economic progress, because of leadership deficit. We need leaders with vision and commitment to build the capacity of the African to solve Africa’s problems.
Instead, we have leadership today that is master at propaganda and lies; leadership that can twist the story of a hungry snake that snatches a fish from the pond for meals, into a “Good Samaritan” snake that saves a helpless fish from drowning. And that is what the NDC is good at.

It is because of this prohibition that private security companies are not allowed to arm their personnel. Nobody can employ armed personnel without proper authorization.
Secondly engaging foreigners in whatever role for the sake of security, also violates the law. South Africa and Ghana are friendly countries and as members of the AU, employing South Africans for private security in Ghana requires proper clearance from both countries. There is no country on the earth whose authorities will tolerate the opposition leader to hire foreigners to come and train his private army.
It is not for nothing that a member of Akufo Addo's own party once remarked that he wouldn't be able to keep his eyes closed when Akufo Addo became president. The man is really dangerous. Look at how he has introduced the culture of silence in the NPP. Anyone who disagrees with him gets suspended. Because of his militancy, the NPP has been riddled with assassinations. It looks like he does not care what happens to the country; all he cares for is to become president at all cost. The security agencies must put their acts together and stop him before it is too late. The law must be made to always prevail in Ghana.

This is all an extension of the "All die be die.." policy of the paranoid Akufo-Addo and his bigoted faction that has been ruining the NPP.

The recalcitrance with which minions of the NPP Flagbearer, such as Freddy Blay, are refusing to concede any wrong-doing in forming a private "Army" trained by foreign mercenaries would root deeper into the violence they have all along been hoping for to implement their scheme to win the Elections at all cost.

Just yesterday, Boniface, Akufo-Addo's lieutenant admitted and reaffirmed the "All die be die.." policy by stating that they would leave nothing to chance but do all that is possible to win Power. That could be safely interpreted to fit into the vicious intentions that many fear the "All Die Be Die.." policy suggested.

That policy of Akufo-Addo's would have been more acceptable to the majority peaceful Ghanaians, had he embarked upon measures that more emphasize his methodologies for solving Ghana's problems, instead of spending resources on forming a possible violent group of para-military personnel.

The claim that the NDC and the President have plotted to harm Akufo-Addo is not only puerile and risible, but could also be farthest from the truth, and a faint effort at justifying the unjustifiable creation of that para-military group they had criticized Nkrumah for forming in the 60s, and Yaw Boateng Gyan, recently, for attempting to do likewise.

I hope the NDC and the Government would sue Blay for his stupid, infantile libelous charge of the President being part of a violent criminal plot to harm the Opposition Leader. Let Blay and his lying bigots and losers put the evidence out there for all to see.

It is the same idiotic incrimination by the same Akufo-Addo faction of former President Kufuor in the murder of Adams, the late Upper East Chairman of the NPP who was doused in Acid, courtesy of Kennedy Agyapong.

It is most bizarre how assuredly the dissipation of NPP's chance of winning the General Elections is getting under the dubious Freddy Blay and his Akufo-Addo cohorts.

This is absolutely a bridge of constitution. They reserve every right to detain them. You can't just walk into the country and start doing anything. This shows that Nana has no respect and trust for our own security personnels. How then do you want the citizens trust you if you can trust and put any confidence in our security service?
