How can a party of thinking beings demand that the way to make the register credible is to exhibit it and voters who will not come to check their names must not be allowed to vote in the next election? And they believe this will eliminate minors and aliens from the register? They must be stupid to think that minors and aliens cannot go and check their names when the register is exhibited. Is it not laughable that, they even have a group that calls itself Let My Vote Count Alliance that is championing this.
It is not as if, if the EC does the kind of validation the NPP prescribes, then the NPP will win. They are merely gambling and this is what they have been doing all the time. Prior to the 2012 election, the NPP demanded Biometric Register (BR) and it was granted but they lost. To be dissastified with a BR means the NPP is sorely confused. What kind of validation is more stringent than the one that is done on election day?
The real problem the NPP has now is a bad candidate. No matter what register we have, he will lose again and again.
