If BNI acts beyond the constitution take them to court and let the courts with the capacity the interpret the constitution look at their actions with respect to the constitution. That is what is done in advance democracies.

People who thrust themselves into "leadership" positions often attract unwanted attention. When Kuffuor was in power, we heard allegations from Rawlings that his life was in danger. This phenomenon in a place like Ghana is not new.
There are rumblings that the NDC political party, as an organisation, systematically infused certain state apparatus with NDC members. The objective was to give it's members employment, but there is the added benefit of having such members push objectives which they believe to be in the interest of their party. If the BNI has become the "enforcers" of the NDC as a political party, then something has to be done to clean the BNI.

Losing your seat will even give you more time to travel to UK to campaign against the NDC again.
