  The people of Volta region are still intoxicated by their allegiance to Rawlingist Party (NDC), for them to vary their voting pattern just four months to election. She probably could have made a difference if she had been selected and unveiled more than a year ago. She could have had more time to travel around the Volta Region, speak to voters in their own language in an effort to convince them that Mahama and the NDC are a waste of time and the nations resources. As it stands now the appointment has come too late.
