The whole matter reads like this. A foreign contractor gives a car gift to the president of the country. This happened when the said contractor was paid a hefty sum for putting up a fence wall. Consequently, this foreign contractor was awarded another big road contract, within the Ndc famous Eastern Road Corridor enclave. At the commissioning, President Mahama praised the foreign contractor to high heavens. He said the. On tract has done an excellent job and challenged Ghanaian contractors to learn from this Burkinabe road contractor! President Mahama was thus paving the way for another bigger contract for this man. He eventual got to it but for an unexpected intervention by forces of nature.
