It means you have committed and offense under the law but any woman has the right to bite the penis that's raping her. So, the fact that the police has charged the guy with rape means the lady has committed no offense. If the guy is found not guilty then he can sue the lady for defamation and assault causing bodily harm. The police should not engage in any tit for tat law practice in Ghana. That's definitely not how the law works in Ghana.

These harassments continue day in and out. In the office, in cars, and as we can see in this particular case, even in the security of their own homes, behind their locked doors. Imagine if this poor girl is your daughter or sister, where does she turn, who will believe her? In a nation that is so sick morally, what I hear people saying is why don't you give in to him. Do that and become a permanent office sex slave. You could say she should quit her job. Tell you what, in present day Ghana, she is lucky to have a job. This is a work place nightmare. As I said, Techiman when I went back there in 2003 was still a small town with one major road going through the Middle of town to Wenchi.
