When many of us read the response that the top UK Diplomat in Ghana gave to a twitter supposed to have been submitted by Mugabe, we were shocked and some, including me, commented to that response from Jon Benjamin as we deemed appropriately.

Now, Mugabe has come out to disown that initial twitter, after all. If Mugabe is innocent of initiating that affront, we must acknowledge how much we have been all fooled by that twitter, with the exception that the respective responses to it from the UK High Commissioner and us are genuine reactions to the various offshoots of it. We must also concede that we are all vulnerable to the misuse of the social Media by unscrupulous entities. Not even the UK High Commission is exempted from that vulnerability.

This realization therefore calls for patience and second thoughts by all in reacting to publications on social Media. I guess the case of someone peddling in false News about Hillary Clinton in the USA that triggered some maniac to spray wild riffle-shots at some Pizza Restaurant must be a lesson to all.

It is interesting to also notice how the same social media could be used together with Computer hacking to taint the US Presidential Elections as the CIA now accuses the Russians to have done in favor of Donald Trump.
