If Akufo Addo, God forbid should die in office or resign for any reason Bawumia, a Northerner (is he?) will assume the presidency and his wife (a fulani, Northerner, not sure) will become the first lady. Then NPP's own words will turn around and bite them in the bum. Unless of course Bawumia is prevented from becoming president and leading the NPP because of his ethnicity. NPP afterall is an Akan party.

It's now time to govern, and the NPP will be expected to fulfill all those wonderful promises without let: Employment for the teeming and expectant youth outside of school and coming out of school, Reduction in VAT, electricity and water tariffs, and petroleum products, Absolutely free Senior High School for all day and boarding students, Restoration of trainee teachers and nurses allowances, One factory in each and every one of our districts, One dam for each of the over 1,000 villages in northern Ghana, etc. Whatever Samira did during the campaign is immaterial to Ghanaians at the moment. It's redemption time, and we will expect nothing but fulfilment of the campaign pledges. JDM never gave excuses,so we will never accept any excuses.
