What did this man focus on before they were swept by the tsunami? Why can't he vanish quietly and allow his successor decide where he wants to go? What was his main aim of trying to pre-empt the incoming administration? Is it so that he can share in the praise or revel in his own "Didn't I warn you?" mantra in case of success or failure?
His advice is unwarranted.
But no surprises, because his boss is doing exactly the same thing up there! It may have been a cabinet concensus! "Let each and everyone force the incoming administration in one direction. If we are able to compel them to waste their energies to sort out the mess we leaver behind, they would have no time to implement their own promises before 2020, and we will have the upper hand."
But their plans will come to nought. They are just uttering the last words of a dying criminal gang. Let us allow them this last minute luxury. They will be gone come another Sunday!!!

If the winner would not take an olive branch extended to it by the losers then this country would continue to be polarised. This type of advice is the surest way of building a nation as no one party or group of people have all the answers. The national interest must be upheld at all times. If the NDC failed to tackle galamsey, Fulani herdsmen and armed robbery it is only a mark of patriotism to point out these potential land mines to the incoming administration in the national interest. That is how great nations are built.
