It's becoming increasingly clear that he is not capable or fit to occupy the apex office that's mistakenly entrusted into his care by the citizenry, hence the many unnecessary appointments to, one, create jobs for his boys and two, to sit back in some ceremonial fashion and claim unwarranted glory for himself after all. That's about it, pal. There is nothing magical about protecting public purse in this unfolding drama.

First, as an experienced as he is, Nana still plagiarized some excerpts from former American President, Bush’s 2009 inaugural speech—why didn’t he give Bush credit for his originality?

Secondly, the brouhaha over Kofi Moshie's (Mahama's) retirement residence didn't come out well, either; and

Thirdly, this high-noon folly of creating 4 more regions and 6 more ministries are completely nonsense. Why do you need 4 more regions for a small country like Ghana with 10 regions already and why do you need that many new ministries that the existing related ministries can't do?

Nana, this is a bad way to start your administration: ALL THESE REEK LIKE WASTEFUL EXPENDITURES, JOBS FOR THE BOYS & GIRLS, DUPLICATION OF DUTIES, FIGHTS FOR TURF & GOOD GROUNDS FOR CORRUPTION. For God's sake, Nana, "don't waste money on constructing buildings for these ministries.” YES, they can work from the office of the president and let them have very thin staff. Again, I don't think Nana Addo is starting his journey on a good note or foot—THINK TWICE, NANA!!

The public's outcry on these needless positions has forced Akuffo-Addo to clarify the rational behind all these newly-created positions. Akuffo-Addo has done nothing but pulled wool over the eyes of unsophisticated Ghanaians by claiming that the six new ministries will be working from the Office of the President. Giving them the title of ministers places them on equal footing with regular ministers making them eligible to receive all associated perks and benefits. Since these ministers will be tasked with specific duties in the office of the president, they should be given the titles of special counsels to the president. These positions may not require an enormous budget to fund.
