NDC spread our streets with $120,000 V8 cars making Japan rich. All they know is to steal and make us miserable.Now Nana is here to save Ghanaians , he wants to share the money to us all, but look at what they are doing.What most Ghanaians are praying for is N D C will nerver come to rule this country again.God Almighty this is our prayer AMEN.

They tax your imported vehicle 250,000 and when your are unable to pay, they auction it for 10,000. You do not thing that is stealing? We need tax and duty reduction!

I do support abolishing of those useless taxes,NDC government was just imposing taxes on Ghanaians unnecessarily as if those incharge were not thinking right,how on earth can you impose tax on poor people when sometimes they don't even sell anything,how do you determine their 1% tax,how do you know how much sales they make a day?

Some of the things that sent the party to opposition if you look at it they don't make sense at all,a party that is advocate for the poor but in government became elite government making life difficult for the poor with all kind of foolish taxes but will not listen, very arrogant until we found ourselves in opposition,shame on us.

If u abolish kayayei tax what have u done. Where in the developed world do we have kayayei. Just get them a better means of livelihood that is decent and more rewarding and Ghanaians will clap for u.

As a country we can do better by abolishing this kind of job by channeling their efforts into more productive areas of the economy. Agriculture is one huge area that we can consider. We must get kayayei off the streets.

Even though there is no levy known as "KAYAYEI LEVY , I simply don't care about any removal or abolition of such levy purported to redeem the poor souls of the downtrodden women head porters who toil under the scotching tropical sun to feed themselves and their fatherless children. If we are to address the untold hardship of the kayayei, then one percent abolition of their so called levy is nothing to write about. With so much talk about free education for all to the high school level, l anticipated the government to include these poor women in the free education programme by going back to the Kwame Nkrumah adult education programme which most grown ups were beneficiaries. Free adult education to these kayayei is more meaningful than the one percent tax removal. In this case, the government want to tell us that these women are sentenced to head porters for life. Most of them are still young and when given the opportunity to attend adult education schools under the free education programme, some can even become journalists, lawyers and medical doctors in future. To sentence a woman to head porter for life is not only wicked but also disgraceful to our country. We do not have to underrate them because of poverty. If we are sharing the national cake as the government is saying, then let these Kayayei have their fair share by giving them the right to have education.
