  It is a shame for Ofori Attah to boast of free SHS when only entering first year students are going to benefit. This is a HUGE SHAME. The whole exercise smacks of cop out, big time.

  I don't really know the kind institutions that trained these NDC idiots. Fiscal consolidation and growth policy are mutually exclusive options for solving economic problems and so if Mahama concentrated on inflation targeting to achieve fiscal consolidation and Nana is using supply-side principles to achieve growth, how do these stupid NDC babies try to say they are Mahama's economic policies. Look, inflation targeting is demand-side economic policy and it phased out in the late 70s because it has so many deficiencies. My highest qualification is HND yet, I think, I am far better than these NDC gurus who boast of Masters degrees and PhDs.

  The electricity generation capacity which was deficient was resolved by JDM, truth be told. Kufuor jerry cans are gone. Highways and hospitals have been added and improved. Even SHS have been constructed.

  Let me make it simple. The budget was specific on some of the policies of the NPP govt so you can measure them. The minister mentioned the implementation of free SHS, reduction and removal of certain taxes. If you are a struggling parent and you don't pay school fees next academic year, that money can be used to solve your other problems. I can say the same for the taxes and the other initiatives. If you can't appreciate these basic things, then no one else can help you.

  Npp think they are smart and they behave like Kwaku Ananse .How can tax relieve which will take effect in 2018 appears in 2017 Budget. Indeed we are in interesting times. They promised us to cut the cost of electricity bill because Ghanaians are being burdened. I can say without fear or favour that they will not be any significant change in the price.Now they are on field playing and it is not easy to score a cheap goal.They should not complain that the pitch is not good.They promised to restore the trainees and nurses allowance when voted to power within three months. Now they shifting the goal post to September.
