  If it's not about chasing after cars, it's BRIBERY amongst themselves......WHEN? GHANAIANS WHEN? Are we waiting for them to set the nation ablaze before we react?

  City Mayors must be elected by the indigenous and tax paying inhabitants of these communities. The mayor then gets to appoint the Police Commander/Chief of each big city. Employees of the mayors office will not change with any new mayor, except his immediate assistants. This would guarantee smooth continuity, even if it is under a bad mayor. Why are we as Africans and Ghanaians afraid of perfectly functioning systems? Many people have advocated for such a policy to be implemented. I am tired of being an African, I am tired of being a Ghanaian. We really are sub-intelligent, sub-human or plain stupid!

  only 40% of the population in Kumasi pays Electricity bills and NPP has made Ghana a laughing stock alread by given everything free,free,freebies and yet the president will turn to beg from USA, Europe, Canada etc.

  Jobs need to be created and fast. People need to feed themselves and their families. If govt has developed the means to make farming attractive it needs to start enticing the youth to engage in it. Help them acquire farming lands, provide some basic and initial tools.
  
  I actually believe these Lorry Parks should eventually be privatized and regularized by the government. The private investors then would decide what kinds of jobs would be available and who to employ. Nothing to do with government or assemblies.
  
  Good government policies can turn things around and bring competition and efficiency. We cannot have such income generation sources without proper structures and oversight.
  
  Same issues are happening at the Toll Plazas. Any time I see these disputes and fights it tells me right away that things are not structured right so the revenues are not even going to the right places or not being accounted for in some formal way. If the structures exist then I would expect the workers or employees of such facilities to be employed and paid through a normal channel. In this way any suspicion of bias in the hiring process can easily be investigated through some normal channels.
