  The top judge or simply put, the Chief Justice in Ghana is a woman so, what is the meaning of "women are being sidelined or trampled upon"? Charlotte Osei is the head of our electoral commission and a lot of other women who have held top positions.
  
  We cannot give anything to them on a "silver platter". They have to fight or compete for anything because we all go to school together.
  
  On the other hand, violence against women cut across the board. It is an unpardonable act that must be condemned by all and sundry but how can it be stopped?
