  So this Fulani woman, Mrs Bawumia enjoyed Ghana's education freely from the basic level through to Secondary School and then the University. Fulani's are NOT Ghanaians. There is no indegenous tribe in Ghana as Fulani.

  I think the schools are being scammed with Fumigation. It is not working and they don't even have proof that it kills any bugs. One look at the dormitory tells me a lot. Why wouldn't there be begbugs and roaches? These school authorities are useless. All they do is complain. What do the authorities do when the kids go home on vacations? They just leave the dorm rooms to rot, I guess. I see lots of holes and in the walls.Good hiding places for bedbugs.
  
  I would suggest to the schools to start using old fashion weekend manual work approach. Organize and have all the students remove their belongings from rooms excluding the mattress.
  Give each room a couple of bedbug fighting canisters to meticulously spray all corners of the begs and mattresses (also any visible cracks and holes in the walls). I don't care if they use DDT to clean the beds. Each student must either wash all their clothes including blankets or go through them thoroughly (one by one). "Chopboxes" and trunks should be spread carefully too. Repeat this proposed exercise on conservative weeks for about a month. It may sound simple and crude but I am sure it will reduce the bedbug population or rout them out completely.

There is no way a dormitory in this present age in the school will look this way. And to the journalist, so of all the good and butiful things that happened at the speech day, this was the best you could do? Weldone.
