ever since Akufo Addo became president of Ghana, women are no more safe! vagina assault and homosexuality in kumasi, raping children and own young daughters, teenage pregnancy mostly in the Volta region and kumasi , seizing private vehicles, fighting over used toilets in kumasi, stealing and attacking police in the flagstaff house became the order of the day by this invisible forces! we didn't vote for this disgraceful behavior! invisible terrorist keep on terrorizing Ghanaians women and children. Don't be naive ghanaians!For about five centuries your gold has been mined and exported by foreigners in tonnes(ash.gold,newmont etc)The gold money goes outside the country with peanuts left for the govt!These big firms are the biggest environmental destroyers,they use mostly toxic chemicals to extract gold(e.g cyanide,very poisonous)and dump the waste into abandoned pits.This later gets into the ground water,later into drinking water and streams causing illnesses like blindness,cancer etc.(check the towns of these mining companies).with their large concessions,sometimes kms.they are causing more havoc to your environment and most of the money they make go outside the country.We should rather organise the local miners to get concessions ,BAN MINING in rivers and streams.let them pay taxes some to be used to fill the death traps(pits).Because we have millions of ghanaians depending directly and indirectly on GALAMSEY.The MONEY from galamsey stays in Ghana ,whilst the money from your so called big gold companies go outside because the govt officials who are supposed to get the nations share get their shared first.Let's rather manage GALAMSEY well instead of banning it and tell the big companies to recycle their chemicals(cyanide),or the state should build a recycle plant and charge them for using it.
