If he's sure of the evidence given to them by Munkata, what stops him or the NDC from taking the matter to the police. It was this same NDC Guys who claimed an assassination attempt on Kunbour. When the police investigated, it was found to be a hoax and that Kunbour had fired the gun himself to stage his own assassination. Because the NDC was in power at the time, they failed to prosecute Kunbour and sits in parliament as "honourable". If Kunbour can stage his own assassination and run to the police to investigate, what these NDC people can do is without limits.

This is nothing more than the NDC staging their own bribery scandal. The courts are free and they should be free to take advantage of that. They have chosen the route of their rented media because they CANNOT say what they are saying on radio and in their rented press in court. SHAMEFULLY DISHONEST and no wonder he lost his seat.

If you GUYS can't see thru the fact that this Report is just a bogus one, then you are not discerning persons and shouldn't be commenting on this case. Just too many loose ends not tied up. The C'ttee simply sought means and ways to produce a Report which covered up what actually happened. They couldn't succeed. hence their keeping the Report secret and refusing to have a debate on it.

From what I have read so far, it is becoming clear that this Report is just a sham, a bogus cover up. I put a lot of the blame on the NDC MPs and leadership, for not being transparent enough themselves, as the MPs are indeed very corrupt, taking money from even govt depts in order to approve their subventions. Even Amidu wrote that the AG's office wasn't exempted from the treatment. There are therefore many in the NDC too who don't want the boat to be rocked until their goodies spill over into the sea. Yet, we the public at their mercy must do so and have some serious reforms and and restraints imposed on them. Sovereignty, after all, belongs to we the people. We have the last say.

After all, Ayariga wasn't the first to start the claim. The rumour was already in town and Ayariga simply was interviewed and he gave credence to it on radio. So where did the story start from? Who started it?

Besides, even Ken Agyepong claimed to be aware of what happened. He said that some moneybags on their own volition raised the money to dash to the C'ttee members. So the money didn't come from Agyarko really but money was given all the same. Ayariga was clear they weren't sure of where the money came from. Not even Muntaka knew and so two people were delegated to find out. The story they came back with might not be entirely correct but it doesn't mean such a fact finding mission didn't take place. So...

1. Until I have read that Points 9 and 10 in Ablakwa's letter were indeed verified and found to be false by this C'ttee,

2. Until I have read that this C'ttee had indeed interviewed the two (2) MPs Ablakwa claimed to have gone to verify the source of the money, and Ablakwa's claims were found to be false,

3. Until I have read from this Report that the remaining seven (7) Minority MPs on the C'ttee who allegedly also received the envelopes were also interviewed and they declared under oath that they didn't receive any such envelopes,

4. Until they have explained why Suhuyini wasn't call to appear before the C'ttee,

5. xxx

I won't accept this Report as credible and must be accepted as the true reflection of what transpired. The call to expel Ayariga is therefore uncalled for and totally misplaced.

This matter is not yet over. Anas should release his long suppressed stint job on the MPs, which was said to be even worse than that on the judges despite the dangers of legal actions against him.

The corruption in Parliament must be cleaned up,

I now see that the apparent bonding and unity in the NDC came from the common objective of there being something to share and eat. When the late Atta Mills decided to look into his corrupt acts, he never lived to read a single report from the committees he set up to investigate Mahama. When his own Sister Otiko was admonishing him to stop the corruption and thievery he said no.
Now if the corruption he was engaged in and Boakye Agyarko knows, Ghana knows, NDC knows, his family knows, the Founder of your party knows, indeed, everybody knows is raised by the minister designate during his vetting, is this what you think you should be doing-equalization based on lies and rumours, which could not be proven by the three NDC jokers on that committee, when subjected to strict proof?
Let me ask this Murtala Mohammed a simple question. When his party was in power and held a majority in Parliament, did he bribe the then NPP minority on the appointments committee to approve his nomination as a deputy minister? Did he do that and would he have done that, even him?
If he thinks he had basic commonsense not to bribe the then NPP minority to approve his nomination, what makes him think, Boakye Agyarko will do that when his party is the majority and he is more than qualified for the job and intelligent than him?
I don't understand this. Where is his brain, and these sorts of people were in Parliament and holding ministerial positions in this country??? No wonder Ghana collapsed and he is out of office together with corrupt Mahama.
