  This is the consequences of coups and so-called "revolutions" that send shivers down the spine of Ghanaians. That brought about polarization, ethnic divisions and factionalism, Azoka Boys, Delta Forces and other groups.
  
  It became evident in those days that the "powers that be" hauled our large volumes of our gold from Obuasi and other gold mines around the country, with top national security guards in attendance. So "galamsey" that was how was born! Almost everyone, Chiefs, Politicians, Ministers, Pastors, the Police and Army are all involved in this illegal business as I'd already mentioned in my previous postings right here on Ghanaweb. The sad thing is that some media houses won't mind to dig into the truth, until Nana Akufo-Addo's gov't came on scene. Gov't should do well to stop the wanton destruction of our forest, water bodies and our land, by Chinese and other foreigners. Let's hope gov't will heed to public appeal to halt this criminal miners destroying our land. But let's dig deep and see the root cause of this galamsey.

  how to mine in their own standard little ways illegally and sold them to the local goldsmith.
  When the colonial masters found it out, they told them that they could GET THE AND SELL.
  So the instruction 'GET THEM AND SELL' came to be GALAMSEY among our illiterate forefathers.

Upon your nonsense slave masters education what's have you done to keep the land and our waters.

I know of some of the top members of the NPP and NDC including some big time pastors affiliated with both parties who are actively involved in this galamsey business. They are the obos and do well to protect their business. Such lawlessness.
