Formerly the part of the timber market was for the yam sellers, majority are frm the north who brought the yams, beans, groundnuts etc. It was a very big msrket, coming are the schools. Today the people are living there in houses the have built, & using the agbogloshie market as the main market, so whatdo you expect? The place shd be decongested, so that they go outside ( home) after the days work, for sanity to prevail.
