  To paraphrase this wise saying; When the Chinese have destroyed our environments beyond repairs, poisoned our rivers with all the hazards and health related problems that comes with their Galamsey, when the fishes in ours rivers are contaminated with lead and mercury which render them not edible or die if you eat them; when frogs that prey on the mosquitos have been totally exterminated then and only then will stupid, stupid Ghanaians realise their folly that when the last Chinese locusts are gone - you cannot eat gold or money.

  Why this stupid statement? Fighting Galamsey does not mean we should extend it to insulting Chinese. Let us not start a war we will never win. The reality on the world today pints to the fact that even the Americans are cautious when dealing with China. Yes, we can fight the galamsey menace, but we should not turn it into and insulting and denigrating contest with China. As for those talking about the ecosystem and frogs, let them ask why gathering Akyems eat bats and rats and yet we see nothing wrong with it. In fact, they also eat the cocoons/worms that turn into pupa, and then to butterflies, and yet nobody complains about its effect on the ecosystem. My worry is that these ethnocentric and parasitic individuals whose groups have invaded every known country in this world for greener pastures are, ironically, the first to turn round and insult others at the least opportunity.   My understanding of Chinese eating frogs is that it disrupt our eco cycle. Frogs eats insects, snakes eats Frogs etc. What this means is that consuming all these Frogs also eliminates it's habitat etc etc.
