  You are spot on with that question, but facts of the matter is that he allegedly placed his airplane in a BLIND TRUST in the US i.e. Now the Trustees assumes the ownership of the said private jet. That's why the plain is an American registered. So if you remember the infamous American Plane spotted at the Iranian airport saga in 2014. An exposes that created a lot of huh uhh ha around the world, that's the plane under discussion now. As to how much taxes the said plane accrued when it decked at the Ghanaian airports is another question worth asking. There were too many shady undertakings under erstwhile John Mahama administration.

  Even if his brother could have been President forever it is just good and honest to pay due taxes so that his brother's government could use it to develop the country. This goes to show that both himself and his brother the President had no good intentions for the country but only to loot and milk it dry. They must be investigated beyond this point so all monies stolen directly and indirectly could be retrieved for the country's developlment

  I surely smell something fishy here and if not corrected immediately will have a very negative impact on our democracy.
  
  If truly something went wrong and for that matter requires payment within two weeks, then someone inside GRA must be held responsible and not Ibrahim. In the worse case scenario, he must only be fined and the boss in GRA punished heavily for not following due process.
  
  If GRA did not allow it, it wouldn't have happen.Period. They GRA may have been influenced as well and that must be taken into consideration as dishonesty on the part of GRA.
  
  Anything apart from that is truly witch hunting in my opinion.

  Ibrahim is a billionaire , the amount to be paid is a drop in the ocean for him. He can easily pay it and it would not make any dent in his mountain of riches. He must pay it within two weeks.

  I could see that some Ghanaians are myopic and naive,they know but pretend not to know,what is the fuse about someone who invaded tax and now being asked to pay it.Frankly speaking,we are used to politicizing everything in Ghana including criminal issues,why should one person be allowed to issue more than 24 checks that went and bounced or was it because his brother Dramani Mahama was the President ? This were the very people who help in the destruction of the great NDC thinking that spreading money to their favorites in the party in all forgetting that relegating the principles and values of the party is the woes that led to the destruction.True NDC members wouldn't solidarised with any nation wrecker,Ghana needs money to develop opportunity for all more importantly for the underprivileged in society,I want encourage GRA to persue all tax defaulters including Ibrahim and retrieve the money for Ghana.
