So what we need our leaders to be doing is, for whatever they are mining the coltan and those other resources for, in this case smartphones and electronic devices, about 60-70% of the initial processes leading to the final product must be done in DRC with the remaining 30-40% completed in China and pass laws and regulatory regimes that ensures that shared prosperity instead of some of the effects as listed.
Without a well-thought out system in place to benefit from the resources which are being mined, it's quite useless on our part to be complaining about sex. Because the rage for natural resources is going to get much fiercer with emerging economies and as the developed world transitions into advanced technologies as the new economic growth frontier.

What my brothers and sisters in Ghana, perhaps do not know is that Chinese are masters of corruption, deceit and counterfeit. Do you know that many of the Chinese working on China sponsored projects in Ghana are prisoners who have been released and sent to Ghana to work and make a living instead of the state spending resources on them in the prisons in China.

About a month or two ago Mr Abdul Malik Kwaku Baako mentioned in one of the news platforms that Anas the top investigative journalist in Ghana has done some investigations into the this galamsey problem and has uncovered the big fishes sponsoring these menace.
