Justice should be served at all cost. The DCE is suspect in this case because their story leading to the death of this officer keeps on changing by the hour.

I do not trust the DCE investigation since it has the potential of undermining the justice system. We need an independent credible entity to take over the investigations. This move will ensure that the current investigation on the lynching will be allowed to follow the facts wherever they may lead.

The DCE has been served notice. We will not relent until the full truth is unraveled. The people of Ghana will hold the DCE full responsibility for the senseless murder of the officer.

NPP whose side are you on? Justice has to be served at all cost.

Let us consider the worse scenario: the office was aiding the galamasey illegal enterprise, the town folks had no right to lynch him. The town folks do not represent the law of the land and their action was nothing but primitive and uncalled for. Arrest the guy and have him face justice.

But again that was not the case. We need nothing but the full truth and an independent entity to unravel what seems to me a cover-up of sorts.

It is a mark of a barbaric people, a barbaric culture and an inhumane society. Imagine if this were your innocent father, brother, son, uncle, nephew, cousin etc. Wake up Ghana, wake up Nana, wake up the judiciary branch, and let JUSTICE PREVAIL IN THE LAND, ESPECIALLY IN THIS CASE. The president has more confidence in his vigilantes than the Ghana police, so much so that the seat of govt is guarded not by officers of the Ghana police but by Invincible Force vigilante group. The person we are looking up to for leadership is himself neck deep in the vigilante lawlessness. The first step is to make it illegal to run and operate any vigilante group in the country, political parties and the president included.

When you allow hoodlums who insult and physically attack our judiciary without any punishment, mob justice prevails.

Such situation have been happening all over the country but the police has never been able to come out with any report. This is time for government to quickly introduce the national identification card with every national or non-national having a finger print stored in a system. We cannot wait for a situation where DNA tests cannot be done on incidents. DNA test of the stones and sticks used for the lynching could have revealed the detractors in no time. Also, government must institute satellite and area cameras whereby events of such nature can be recorded and played back.

This is barbaric and unacceptable, why didn't the people of Dieso lead the captain to the camp where the other soldiers were located to identify him as their own when the captain said he was not an armed robber but a soldier on official duties in the community, there is more to this incident than we are currently hearing, all these is happening in Ghana because the people have lost total confidence in the police/judiciary, these two institutions need complete overhauling if they are to make any meaningful impact in the society, for such a handsome young man, more so a senior military officer to die in such a manner in the hands of his own country men, too bad. I have never seen a soldier so handsome like this young man, may his soul rest in peace, i suggest the state take charge of the education of his children up to the university level. i can't think far, the people of dieso paaaa.

Fellow Ghanaians things just don't happen. Its time our media uses its power to promote love and peace rather than hate and division. The mind is a powerful weapon. The more you promote hate, you create haters and vice versa.

We do a lot of talking on the media all in the name of freedom of speech, but use the same media to abuse ourselves emotionally, mentally and physically.

I listened to some of the hate propagandas during the pre-election period and my heart bleeds.

JSS and SSS graduates are idling around our towns and cities with nothing to do. They are filled with anger and frustration. If the young people of this city were gainfully employed will they have had the time and energy to go ahead with this barbaric act!
Its time our leaders sit up and realise that when the youth are idle crime increases!
Its time for our leaders to start thinking of how to utilize its excess manpower resources.

As a mother my heart is bleeding for the family, especially the wife, the children and the other of the late Captain.

How do we stop this in our dear country.

This move will ensure that the current investigation on the lynching will be allowed to follow the facts wherever they may lead.

The DCE has been served notice. We will not relent until the full truth is unraveled. The people of Ghana will hold the DCE fully responsible/accountable for the senseless murder of the officer.

When we were witnessing this type of scene in other parts of the world, particularly in South Africa, we called it barbaric and inhumane. Some how they are right because they claim we are taking their jobs. We are foreigners so we can call it xenophobia or xenophobic attacks.
