It was meant to embolden the ordinary people to exact the principles of probity and accountability from those in authority. And to those in authority, it was to serve as a healthy reminder of the wrath in store for them should they fail to uphold these values.Unfortunately,the activities of some of the men who brought about the june4 negated these noble principles and ineffect we've simply learnt nothing and forgotten nothing as a nation.
