Because this military officer is related to ex-prez Mahama, the NDC communicators are just over-hyping issues surrounding this slain galamsey soldier. Generally, Ghanaians are hypocrites that is why Ghana is backward in the midst of plenty. Look at how nursing mothers have been detained with their babies in connection with this unfortunate murder and it appears human rights lawyers in Ghana have all gone to sleep.I am not the least surprised because if the Minister of Children and Gender Affairs has gone to weep profusely at the funeral of Late Maj Mahama because the deceased is a relative, do you think she will see the need to protect these kids who are being punished for crimes they have not committed.

Dear lawyer, thank you very much for your courage and professionalism. It surprises that Ghanaians do not understand rule of law and the right to presumption of innocence.

I'm very glad that Major Mahama and his family are in the course of realizing the right to speedy trial.

My major concerns are the human rights violations committed against the people of Denkyira Obuase by the Ghana Armed Forces and the impunity thereof. Those soldiers who tortured and terrorized the residents should be dismissed from the Ghana Armed Forces and face criminal and civil prosecutions. I'm willing to pay for the legal cost. The Minister of Defence, Chief of Defence Staff and the Army Commander, for that matter the Government of Ghana should be sued by the victims of torture and aggravated assault, inhumane and degrading treatment. The history of Ghana Armed Forces is replete with mob justice. The fight against mob justice should start with the military.
