As sad and barbaric the way Major Mahama was murdered by these people, we cannot just kill over 30 people without trial when some of them might not be guilty. How do you justify killing the woman who genuinely believed he was reporting an armed robber to his assemblyman?

To me personally, the only person who deserve the death penalty in this unfortunate incident is the assemblyman who organized the thugs to kill this fine young Army officer.

He is fear fear man and one wonders why he was given the apex appointment of an institution like Ghana Armed Forces. Very soon the Ghana Armed Forces will be dragged to court the Government will end up paying huge sums of interest on delayed payments for sitting on money and refusing to pay suppliers and contractors. I know he would diplomatically deny it to cover his shame but it's a fact. He is sir sir type of person who would portray the impression that all is well meanwhile things are bad. Suppliers /contractors have supplied various items to the Ghana Armed Forces since last year for their peacekeeping training and operations which he is aware right from the time he was appointed the Army commander and now Cds but this officer is refusing to for the items received and used. He doesn't care. Always interested in receiving visitors. He should understand that CDSs have come and gone and we saw the way they performed. Mr President, we hear you're meeting soldiers this Friday at Burma Hall, your CDS is only going to tell you only sweet things that you want to hear, but don't forget that the under current is very swift. All is not well within Armed Forces so mr president please shine your eyes. He is advocating for the killers of the late Major Mahama to face firing squad. This is madness! We're not in the era of hemp smokers revolution dictatorship.
If anybody should face the firing squad, then Major Boakye Djan should have the courage to direct his anger at Jerry Rawlings who supervised the execution of military officers for perceived corruption, and turned round to collect $5m bribe from the late Nigerian leader General Saanie Abacha. Yes the death of that illustrious son was gruesome and the perpetrators deserve no mercy, yet they still have to go through a trial. After al,l the psychological torment they are going through can't be equalled to instant deaths. That will have been a huge relief to them. The Yokolhama bombing was more horrific than the murder of Mahama considering the casualty figures, yet the culprit was represented by a team of lawyers and after an exhausted trial executive. We are a country filled with hypocrites and the worse of it, lawyers afraid to represent the accused. Can we reclaim the days when Aduboahens,Nana our current prez and the Kwaku baako's could stand up against the injustices of evil regimes w/o fear for their own lives?Nana who stood for good governance and serve the public without blemish will certainly lead us to reclaim our lost values.
