First off, the Gitmo 2 are not Terrorists as Amoako Baah claims. At least, we have not proven that they are. If they were, the USA would not have let them go free, and would have had it tough to justify them being sent to some other friendly Nation to live free only to, possibly, strike at her again in the future.
The two were wrongly arrested by the USA with the help of their home Government which has the potential to breach their civil rights in some attempt to justify her collusion with the USA. One would be tempted to argue why should they not be sent back home where they came from. The above likely reaction by their home Government partly answers that question. And partly, it is because it is inhumane to dump the two people in a War environment, after illegally plucking them up for incarceration for some crime they never committed. They qualify for refugee status, once they are outside their country and prefer not to be sent there.
So, Amoako Baah's argument is irrelevant from the beginning. He and others opposing the presence of the Gitmo 2 in Ghana are doing so out of sheer baseless cowardice. He is simply paranoid, or doesn't want to discuss the real facts about the two people, and the circumstances under which our previous Government accepted them.
It is very shameful when someone with such intellectual acumen, like Baah, fails so miserably in his/her own field of expertise. As a Political Scientist and Professor of the subject, he ought to avail himself with enough data and facts on issues as sensitive as this before going public to embarrass himself.

Decisions or rulings from the Supreme Court have been politically driven without a need for wisdom or intellectual honesty. The Court gave us the Woyome ruling without showing how Martin Amidu had a legal standing or how Ghana came to the Woyome saga if the Kufour administration had adhered to Ghana's open bid procurement processes and practices. The court gave us the NDC radio personality ruling while the court acted as prosecutors, judge and jury without batting an eye because they knew of no wise men in society. Under ex-chief Justice Georgina Woods they imprisoned Tsatus Tsikata on a bogus charge for causing financial harm to Ghana while this Nana Akufo-Addo administration is double dipping and doubling payroll expenditures with the replacement of civil servants at YEA while moving those replaced directors around to other ministries without PSC agreement. Then of course we have this GITMO 2 ruling that the courts cannot cite a law that was violated and or what the law reserved as appropriate remedy. Why must parliament say and do if there is a statute or law in the existing constitution that is at the root of the court's decision?
