  Apologize to who?. Mr. Bright Appiah is a defense lawyer and using the information the prosecutor ( The Police) presented at that time in his defense. A 12 year old is a juvenile and must be treated as such.

  If a new investigation has proved that his client is an adult, dynamics change and the police who reported that his client was 12 yrs old must apologize not the lawyer.
