I don't even remember when an American President and the government celebrated Reagan ' s funeral,when you die and you are giving a state burial that's it after one year the rest is for the family and it doesn't matter any more so why should the government wast time on a 5th anniversary when you didn't even celebrate the 4th anniversary well when you were in government, ndc whine too much why are you like that in opposition? You think you can court sympathy by doing this get away with your nonsense! If because they didn't come so you wouldn't reveal his autopsy report keep it in your armpit. How can the government follow ndc nonsense when they don't even know what killed him. But why should government officials be expected or be required to attend the anniversary of the death of a former President? Professor Mills was given a state burial, which was attended by leaders of all political parties. Any subsequent anniversary should strictly be the business of the party of which he was the leader. The NDC was in power until January 2017. Why didn't the party declare the date of the Prof's death a national holiday, if it was so important to them? Why did they fail to maintain the Prof's burial grounds while they were in power? After the painful defeat, the party is using this issue to rally their disillusioned members. The NDC is just trying to score political points by making a mountain out of a mole hill.

NDC believes Atta Mills was their leader and therefore took the opportunity to organize this function instead of state protocol and does not expect NPP to be there. 4Right noe pw even the family members are angry with NDC and wants the body exhumed and brought to Otuam, his hometown for reburial. They are also wants the autopsy report since they knew the former President did not die of natural causes. They also alleged that NDC did not allow Mills to seek medical attention in US because it was getting to election year. Hypocricy will kill NDC and therefore cannot accuse NPP for not attendindin the function.
