The Amasaman township in the Ga West District of the Greater Accra Region was thrown into a state of shock on Farmers Day following the death of three children .
The children between the ages of 10 and 13 drowned when they were swimming in an abandoned dugout close to construction firm, Sonitra.
The Amasaman police have confirmed the news and are conducting further investigations.
An eyewitness, Kwesi Adamu told Atinka News that, two bodies had been recovered as of Saturday morning and that a search party was hunting for the last body.
According to him, two of the victims ignored an advice of a third colleague not to swim, leading to the tragic news
