KAA Gent captain Nana Kwesi Asare has signed a two-year contract extension with the Belgian giants.
The new deal will keep him at the GHELAMCO-arena (Gent) until June 2021.
Asare, 32, has been playing for the Buffaloes since July 2013.
He won the Jupiler League in the 2014/2015 season and Super Cup.
Asare has starred in UEFA Champions League and Europa League and tallied a total of 235 matches.
He was one of the first players to graduate from the then Gomoa Fetteh Feyenoord Academy ( now WAFA) and has been consistent abroad.
Asare has also represented KV Mechelen and Dutch side FC Utrecht
