Former Radio personality and current Member of Parliament for Tamale North has said he’s shocked by the level of hypocrisy in the Ghanaian media space.
According to him, while on Radio Gold some years back, he used to broadcast leaked tapes but he was tagged unethical by some of his colleagues.
However, some years down the line, the same people who called him unethical for airing leaked tapes of public officials are now broadcasting and transcribing leaked tapes on their platforms.
He expressed shock at the level of hypocrisy among Ghanaian media men indicating that when the tapes favour the New Patriotic Party, they see it as ethical to broadcast it.
Alhassam Suhuyini was speaking on TV 3.
This week, there is a leaked tape recording which is purported to be the voice of the National Chairman of the leading opposition party, National Democratic Congress.
On the said tape, it has been revealed that the NDC bussed Azorka Boys to the Ayawaso elections. The Chairman of the NDC is also heard plotting evil against some members of the New Patriotic Party.
