Lawyers for coup suspect, ACP Dr Benjamin Agordzor have today filed additional documents to push for his bail.
The Senior Police Officer was in November last year denied bail by an Accra High Court for fear of using his position and influence to interfere with investigations.
However, his lawyers led by Martin Kpebu filed a supplementary affidavit to back earlier bail application.
Senior State Attorney Hilda Greig told the court that she was handicapped and needed more time to study the document as she received them this morning at the courtroom and couldn’t respond orally.
An Accra High Court presided over by Justice Charles Ekow Baiden has since adjourned the case to January 16, 2020.
