Ghana’s deputy skipper Andre Dede Ayew injured himself on his West Ham Premier League debut against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Monday night.
The 26-year-old forward limped off the field after over-stretching in an attempt to catch up with Chelsea star Eden Hazard.
Ayew’s injury layoff is set to be determined after scans on Tuesday in order to know the extent.
The former Swansea player looked unhappy as he was substituted by Gokhan Tore in the 35th minute.
