German football legend Franz Beckenbauer has stated that his country will be too strong for the teams in the World Cup Group G.
Germany is placed alongside the Black Stars of Ghana, Portugal and the United States of America.
Der Kaiser in an interview with AIPS about the chances of the African teams challenging at the World Cup said: "Lets take a look at the group that contains Germany, USA, Ghana and Portugal. The group is not especially strong and not especially weak. "
"Most groups are mixed rather well, with an exception: The group with Italy, England and Uruguay. The US-Team develops constantly, have good players, but not strong enough to endanger Germany."
"In the same roll I see Ghana. And Portugal exists to me too much of Cristiano Ronaldo. Germany will take this group."
