wo-time AFCON winning coach Herve Renard has applied for the Black Stars job with the deadline being today.
Renard won the AFCON with Zambia before triumphing with Cote d'Ivoire in the 2015 edition of the competition.
The Stars job has been vacant since the resignation of Avram Grant after failing to win the recent held AFCON in Gabon.
Renard was a deputy coach under Claude Leroy for the Black Stars during the AFCON 2008 which Ghana hosted.
