Thomas Abbey handed Black Stars "B" call up after public outburst
Head coach of the home based black Stars have invited three more played into the national team. The list is led by Hearts of Oak inform attacker Thomas Abbey with Nuhu Musah and Justice Blay making the grade.
An initial list of 30 man squad was released by the head coach of the home based Black Stars with many calling for the in form Thomas Abbey.
Management of the local black Stars however defended the list with the notion that it was a preliminary squad and that more players were going to make the cut.
In a statement released by the Ghana football Association, Thomas Abbey is been joined into the team BY WAFA SC centre back Nuhu Musah and Medeama SC Justice Blay.
Nuhu Musah has been one of the key pillars of the WAFA side that is taking the league by storm, wining seven games on a bounce. The former Wa All Stars and New Edubiase defender has been rewarded with a late invitation into the senior national team.
He makes the grade alongside Blay and Thomas, whose form with their respective clubs has been simply priceless.
The locally assembled Black Stars mauled Accra Lions 5-0 with a brace from Richard Arthur.
