European powerhouses, Portugal and Spain square it off in the final match of day 2 of the 2018 World Cup.
Cristiano Ronaldo leads the European champions to face a Spanish side that sacked its coach two days before the tournament.
Sporting Director Fernando Hierro has been placed in charge and says Spain should not dwell on the events of recent days and focus on the task in hand.
"The players are excited, they want this challenge. It's a challenge for everyone. We have no time to dwell, I know they're going to give 100 per cent. In a World Cup nobody gives anything away. We all know what this means and our responsibilities." Portugal's coach Fernando Santos believes that the managerial change won’t affect his opponent but is confident of victory tonight.
"It is Spain and Portugal," he said. "Spain has played like that for 10 years, I don't think there are going to be any surprises. What is important is the team that plays, and the strategy and no more than that. Spain are fantastic opponents. They are highly qualified with a kind of game that has been consolidated over the years and (it) won't change that radically."
