Thousands of football fans in Maceio turned up to watch the Black Stars on their first day of open training at the Estadio Rei Pele yesterday.
A holiday feel was in the air as families turned up hours before the game with Ghana flags and face paintings to await the arrival of their heroes.
Chanting songs and holding placards, most of the fans called out to their heroes by name, with Asamoah Gyan, Kevin Prince Boateng and Daniel Opare among the most famous.
The players of the Black Stars also gave back to a city that has received it warm heartedly with souvenirs and jerseys.
The team will emplane for Natal on Sunday ahead of it's opening group game against the united States of America on June 16.
