In simplified break down here is it; the teams must be operated as a limited liability entity with their own stadiums which recruit their players from the Colleges and universities; the Colleges and universities recruit their players from Senior secondary schools. The teams are encouraged to support sport programs in the schools as is done in North America. This is how the NFL, NBA, and NHL teams recruit their players. The teams are classified as entertainment franchises under the various sport governing bodies. International competitions can then be done in teams stadiums with minimum impact on the public purse.

But during Acheampong's time though things are hard they make sure Dr. Nkrumah's build factories, industries, companies and some institutions like, Akasnuma, Sanyo, Dumas, Asutsuare Sugar, Komenda Sugar, Tafo Rubber , Ghana Brigades, Ghana Railways, Akosombo Textiles, Juapong Textiles, Nsawam Cannery, GIHOC, GNTC, UAC , UTC are all working . Because the Nigerian players are playing with their heart..I have watched some of their games and they seem very determined…unfortunately if u watch the Blackstars, u might think u are watching some women playing on the field..yes Nigeria is using foreign based players, but they are willing to risk everything for their national team..unfortunately Ghana Blackstars players, majority of them are not serious when they are playing..watch our game between Mozambique well, Semenyo was suppose to tackle some ball that could have led to a goal, but he didn’t even bother to tackle..the difference is clear, these current blackstars players are not willing to sacrifice..We have good players but they are not give their best

Thank you Zizou, u know football paa..if I was a coach, I will never include semenyo in my squad..if u are someone who knows a lot about football, u will know that guy semenyo is not a serious player at all..He plays with no seriousness attached..that’s why I said the coach was a problem..As a striker, u should be putting fear into the defenders..Semenyo don’t put any fear into the defenders of our opponents..And we made a good striker like Asamoah Gyan retire whiles Semenyo, a very lazy player is still the striker for Blackstars..Some of us we have academy, so as soon as we see lazy players, we recognize them quick..A lot of the players in blackstars, if I was a coach, I will never call them..

I support Mahama on this..currently Ghana don’t have a national team..Calling players from abroad to come and play for Ghana is not a team..some of these foreign based players think they are doing Ghana a favor by playing for Ghana Blackstars ..but in reality, it’s boost their career..imagine this afcon, a lot of players from different African countries will get better contracts in Europe because of this afcon tournament..this is happening because the Ghana local league is not competitive Enough..Atleast give both the local and foreign based players equal chance..
