Good show but I have a fundamental question ... Why only Ghana football? Is sports journalism only about football.in Ghana? Growing up, I had the opportunity to be training on the tartan tracks then at the Accra Sports Stadium with the likes of Solomon Amagatse, Samantha Sunkwa Mills ,Andrews Owusu, Aligisco, when I wasn't a seasoned athlete myself but because I lived close to the stadium.. The Stadium was opened to all..But in today's Ghana and in the wake of modernity the tartan tracks are off.. I seriously do not know what other facilities are available at the stadium today for other disciplines apart from the green grass pitch at that stadium..
You pass through town and all you see is an artificial or what we call a synthetic grass park only for football in communities.. Why football pitches only? What of other disciplines like common jogging? What has happened to our sports ministry? Is Ghana sports only about footbal which is even failing? What is going on in this country? Who are our athletes and how are they selected? And in what disciplines do they compete? Which teams are we presenting to the all African game due to take place in Ghana in a few days to come? What is going on?
