  You yourself you don't understand how things work. Once you are the coach or player of any team anywhere, you are playing for the fans. Get that clear. You are coaching for the fans or the badge. Some fans buy a whole year's ticket to watch every single match of the season. Such a fan has huge stake in your performance on the pitch. Thats's how it works . I am sorry its you who have to get the understanding. In May 2021, an incident happened in the epl. An Everton fan ran onto the pitch whilst Everton was playing Arsenal to demand exchange of his jersey for his shirt.The point of the fan was, Alex Nyarko was the worst Everton player and did not deserve the HONOR of wearing the team jersey. And that he the fan could better play better than he Nyarko.The fans will always have a say in their team.

Your ability to feed them doesn't give you license to do foolish things, neither should that protect you from being told when you are foolish. JUST DO THE RIGHT THING OR THINGS RIGHT AND YOU WILL GET THE RIGHT RESPECT, NOT 'FANFOOL RESPECT'!
