  No matter the circumstances, Laryea disappointed some of us who were very happy when he was appointed. A Commander who leaves his soldiers in the middle of a war can't be trusted. It is a betrayal of the trust reposed in him. Even if he had issues, he should have waited till the end of the tournament. Can we imagine how his resignation affected or demoralised the young players, and even the Assistant Coaches? Prophet Kofi Oduro, how will you feel if a Pastor to lead a team on a mission and he resigns midway in the programme and leaves the team in the field, what will be your reaction?

  Papa Osofo do you abandon a congregant resign as a Pastor if after several years of preaching they don't seem to conform?Am a Medical Doctor I can't abandon my patient if they are not responding to treatment I cannot equally disown my child simply because he is a deviant or an auto mechanic running away from a very damaged vehicle or a teacher saying the kids are not good so am resigning that situation like Jesus did is a test of character and a determination to succeed after 2000 plus tears we are still sinners has God abandoned us???

  We should stop behaving as if we don't know what happens in our football. No national team coach is his own man. Maybe aside the women's national team. Imposing players on coaches has been our disease. I heard that when Laryea benched one of the players, he was forced to field that particular player. That was when the Burkinabes noticed that particular player's weakness and capitalized and scored two goals. That nonsense will anger ANY coach in the world!! The same people will hypocritically turn round and blame him for our defeat. Same with all our national teams. As we speak, Otto Addo is not his own man looking at the Dede Ayew issue.
