Ghanaian clubs can no longer compete with the african big boys such as simba, young africans, mamelodi sundowns, tp mazembe, al ahly, es tunis. current football is about money and if you can compete in the monetary side forget about success. This is why the ghana premier league is dead lack of money pumped into the teams.

  Too bad for our local league.The day that Alex Asamoah Makwekwe formerly of Asante Kotoko fame told us all after a brief stint with a Benin club that the league over there was more lucrative than the Ghana league was the day I gave up on our local league.How can a league be competitive when clubs can owe players for more than six months and we expect them to thrill and excite us when we go the stadium.
