Yes it is about time the commonwealth games is held in Africa. South Africa and not Ghana is the country where it should be held. The country has the facilities and infrastructure to bid for the games. Ghana doesn't even have facilities and infrastructure to successfully hold African games. During the recently completed games, athletes were complaining about poor facilities and lack of food. It will be an embarrassing spectacle when in the middle of competition, a venue loses power supple, for which Ghana is noted for.
